Responsibilities:
- Set up High availability DB architecture, such as installations, replications techniques
- Monitor and troubleshoot DB’s problems, SQL agent jobs
- Manage DB policies, processes to ensure security, integrity
- Manage Backups/restores strategy
- Manage DB automation jobs, from production => staging => testing => development
- Database performance tuning in conjunction with Devs
- 24/7 availability
Job Requirements
Qualification:
Bachelor of Information System or Computer Science, DBA certifications
Experiences:
- Strong knowledge of DB engines: MySQL/Percona, PosgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch
- Hands-on experience in database operation: monitoring, backups, restoring and tuning
- Fluent on Linux environment
- Ability to code on any server-side languages
- Has knowledge of CI/CD
