Job Details
The role responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Review and analyze business requirements in conjunction with the engineering and product management teams
- Assist the engineering team and business analyst with writing user stories, and validate these against the business requirements
- Collaborate, evangelize and provide technical guidance to the software engineering team — to guide and ensure things like coding standards, definition of done, adherence to software design patterns (SOLID principles, etc), and improve code quality, NFR (Non Functional Requirement such as scalability, performance, high availability, reliability, manageability and operability)
- Evaluate and evangelize new relevant pattern, approach, or technology
- Software design and architecture
- Technical design and architecture — AWS and Azure, such as:
– Branching strategy
– Deployment strategy
– Container and Orchestration strategy
– security testing
– performance testing and analysis
Job Requirements
- Has many experiences as a senior software engineer in at least 2 of the following core areas: NodeJS, PHP, Java, Front End JavaScript (React JS, Angular JS and/or Vue.JS), Android (Java and/or Kotlin), and iOS (Swift)
- Preferably at least 3 year working as a software architect or technical architect
- Experience in Software Development Life Cycle and Software Testing Life Cycle, especially in a product company
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Good time-management skills
- Excellent communication skills as the ability to communicate across multiple teams (worldwide) is a core requirement of the job
- Collaborative and able to evangelize complex ideas to all level of organization
- A degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or similar fields is required.
- English: A high level of fluency including reading, writing, listening, and talking
- Experience with and exposure to software modelling, design and architecture techniques such as C4, ICONIX, MAP, or similar
- A high degree of understanding of AWS technologies
- Willingness to learn, and a can-do attitude.
