- The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Write high-quality and elegant solutions in Java
- Write Unit Tests and documentation
- Participate in identifying and refining User Stories
- Be a mentor to other software engineers
Job Requirements
- 4+ years software engineering experience using Java
- Experience building REST/JSON based APIs
- Experience with RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle,..)
- Experience with NoSQL (Bigtable, Redis is a big plus, MongoDB, Cassandra is a plus)
- Cloud native experience (GCP, AWS,…)
- Familiarity with Spring, Hibernate, Quartz
- Experience with Elasticsearch is a big plus
- Strong in computer science knowledge (algorithms, data structures, programming, problem solving)
- Understanding the basic services in a cloud environment is a plus (pub/sub, virtual machines, kubernetes, load balancing,…)
- Basic knowledge of caching (in-memory caching, varnish, nginx,…)
- Knowledge of CI/CD is a plus
- Microservices architecture is a big plus to have
- Nice to have experience in big-data or large scale system
- Strong Linux skills (not required)
- Good English communication skills
