As part of the development of new software for its collaboration suite, LINAGORA recruits a trainee developer Full Stack Javascript. Do you like to create lightweight solutions, both client-side and/or server and of course in Javascript? LINAGORA is currently developing an Open Source enterprise social network based on open standards and using lightweight solutions. But what would be a social network without an instant messenger worthy of the name? Slack recently demonstrates that Jabber and XMPP are obsolete and we will demonstrate that all instant messaging may be very “funky” if it is Open Source.
We are looking for a Javascript developer to participate in this ambitious project. You will be fully integrated with the development team, will participate in meetings agile (sprint planning, daily stand ups, sprint reviews), and also of codecamps weeks organized by LINAGORA.
Your tasks:
- Participate in the drafting of the roadmap development
- Develop features
- Share your ideas/knowledge/suggestions in technology and features associated with this project
Job Requirements
- You are familiar with Javascript, angularjs, NodeJS
- You are interested in at least one of the following technologies or concept: WebSocket, WebRTC, Jabber, NoSQL, ElasticSearch,
- You know the Git version control system
- You are curious and have an interest in new technologies
