Why We Need Your Help
We are seeking a Frontend WordPress Developer responsible for front-end development, including developing new features for our best selling theme Education WP and other eLearning related themes. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on). The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience with the responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is preferable.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Participate in WordPress projects including designing and implementing new features and functionality
- Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
Job Requirements
What We Look For In You Must Have
- Responsible, sociable, able to work in group
- Good ability to self-training and self-studying on new technologies
- Highly skilled in PHP or equivalent to 1+ years working experience
- Experience developing web applications powered by WordPress
Ideally
- GIT workflow
- WordPress Plugin development
- Experience with JavaScript/jQuery
- Strong understanding of OOP
Big Plus
- Good English skills
- Familiar with Agile Development / SCRUM
- Knowledge in SEO
