Job Details

MAJOR TASKS & SUPPORTING RESPONSIBILITIES (What the role does)

  • Reengineer and streamline current processes that are to be implemented into Salesforce.com to improve customer experience
  • Develop salesforce.com platform modules, dashboards, interfaces and database functions with VisualForce, C#.Net and Apex.
  • Develop interfaces between Salesforce and other systems
  • Document business unit requirements for new functionality requests
  • Design, document, and implement specific initiatives to improve data hygiene and security
  • Research best practice in specific processes and identify if changes can be implemented in Salesforce.com.
  • Provide SME advice to the team on the best way to provide reporting information.
  • Work effectively with other Sales Force Administrators across the business
  • Research add-on application packages and support ROI analysis for acquisition of applicable programs
  • Ongoing Salesforce.com database schema updates and changes
  • Salesforce release management including Sandbox management, change set tracking, and requirement collaboration with software development team
  • Understand requirements (functional and technical) needed to address client needs
  • Assist with the scoping and planning of Salesforce.com and CRM related projects
  • Understand change impacts for business area with each Salesforce upgrade and/or new requirements
  • Demonstrate technical thought leadership

Job Requirements

Knowledge & Experience e.g. qualifications or indicative years of experience:

  • 2 – 3 years CRM industry experience
  • Lightning & Wave Experience
  • Solid understanding of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model & Concepts
  • Communities

Practical / Specialist/Technical Skills: e.g. Keyboard, Software Distribution, etc.:

  • Apex Controllers, Apex Triggers development experience
  • VisualForce
  • JSON
  • Chatter, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5 design, JQuery
  • Web Services development experience
