Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with and oversee a team of local and overseas developers
- Manage the expectations and interests of both internal and external stakeholders by acting as an important linkage between the 2 parties
- Transform ideas into prototypes within tight schedules
- Gathering user requirements and translate into technical specification
- Development of software application using PHP and CakePHP Framework
- Work with different department and customers to create and enhance new features on Web Applications
- Develop proof of concepts and technical designs
- Provide maintenance support for PHP- based web applications on-time within SLA agreements
- Development, Installation and configuration of plug-ins / APIs
- Software development and enhancement
- Creating work breakdown tasks, timeframes and work schedules to meet deadlines
- Technical documentation
- Inspect, test, verify and validate software
- Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality
- Updating records and writing reports
- Conducting research and keeping abreast of social media marketing trends
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- At least a diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
- Information Systems, or an equivalent
- At least 5 years of working experience in Web Development
- Experience leading a team of developers and oversee of multiple projects at a given time
- Solid knowledge of HTML/CSS, CakePHP, JavaScript, Bootstrap, JQuery & Web API
- Experience with mockup and UI prototyping tools
- Understanding of security practices
- Knowledge of Window Server/ Linux Server will be advantageous
- Experience in Education domain will be advantageous
- Positive and able to drive a team to achieve desired quality standards
- Willingness to learn on the job and attend upgrading courses
- Team player who enjoys interaction at work and during recreation
- Proficient in English (Spoken and Written)
