• Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java/Kotlin code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Job Requirements

• 0-1 years of experience
• Experience in developing Android application with Android Studio
• Knowledge of Android SDK, Google API (eg.Google Maps SDK), understanding Android life-cycle, and how to deal with different screen sizes, different versions of Android
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
• Knowledge about Java, also firm understanding of OOP, design patterns, coding structure and organization
• Background on data structures and algorithms
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Experience with offline storage (caching), threading (lazy-loading, background-thread, multi-threads) and performance tuning
• Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
• Have experience with Gradle
