Viral Foundry is looking for a full time senior Android Developer. You will join a team and help build web and mobile applications. We have internal products and partner with other companies to build products/MVP’s.
Job Requirements
- Truly passionate about development.
- 2+ years experience
- At least 2 applications on the Google Play Store
- Need to be able to show some code / github code review
- Unquestionable
- Fluent English (Spoken & Written)
- .Outstanding communication skills, can read/write/speak english
- Degree in Computer Science or related field (Preferred)
- Outstanding communication + reliability, no talkers, but people that execute
- Advanced level skills with Android development – Android SDK, tools and optimization techniques, how to deal with different screen sizes and hardware, etc
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Previous experience building accurate estimates for projects (reviewing user stories + building reliable estimates for android projects)
- Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- A knack for benchmarking and optimizationUnderstanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Familiarity with continuous integration
- Accountable, and will do whatever it takes to ship products and always puts customers first
- Have a deep desire to ship products and get the job done at all costs attitude
