QC Engineer
As a QC Engineer with OnSolve you’ll be a key contributor to the definition and quality of our products. This role is primarily a QC function, but has elements of Business Analysis as part of our agile development team. If you’re someone who considers themselves detail oriented, a team player, adaptable, driven, and a continuous learner we would love to speak with you about joining our team!
Responsibilities
- ● Analyze software requirements and refine them by working with others
- ● Develop agile testing approaches and light-weight, repeatable testing artifacts
- ● Execute adhoc, regression, and acceptance classes of tests and report results
- ● Work with software engineers to identify and resolve defects
- ● Use tools such as Jira for the logging of defects and apply appropriate prioritization
- ● Occasional production support requests that may occur outside of working hours
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- ● English speaking/ writing ability
- ● A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent knowledge
- ● Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- ● At least 2 years working experience as a QA, QC, or BA
- ● Knowledge of best practices for testing
- ● Knowledge of databases and SQL
- ● Knowledge of HTTP and web services (REST, SOAP)
- ● Experience working in an agile development environment
It will be advantage if you have
- ● Experience testing mobile applications on iOS or Android
- ● Experience testing web applications using modern responsive, SPA application design
- ● Experience with BDD or other automated testing frameworks/methodologies
- ● Experience with testing application security, data volume, or load testing tools
- ● Experience with browser automation frameworks such as Selenium
