Job Details
The internship programme is the best opportunity to explore market research within the entertainment market. The typical duration and timing is 8 to 12 weeks, though in some cases, there may be opportunities to intern for fewer weeks this is dependent on the office and the availability of the intern. In most cases, interns are assigned to one market research project for the duration of the internship, where they have little or no previous experience.
The interns receive support from a Project Manager and/or a coach who will outline the interns’ responsibilities and provide mentorship and guidance along the way. At the end of the internship, interns who have met performance expectations will be considered to return full-time once they have graduated from university. As important, the interns can make a more informed decision in regards to pursuing market research in the long term.
Responsibilities:
- Provides high quality, timely development and on-time input to client solutions for the digital & entertainment industries
- Assignments typically require analytical work and problem solving with strategic orientation
- Manage fieldwork and data processing
- Analyze and interpret data, write reports, present
- Under direct supervision, assists with the review and analysis of client requirements or problems.
- Assist in developing detailed documentation and specifications
- Under close supervision, performs basic quantitative or qualitative analyses to assist in the identification of client issues and the development of client specific solutions
- Assist in design and structures of presentations that are appropriate to the characteristics or needs of the audience
- Proactively develop a basic knowledge of primary market research methodologies and the pharmaceutical market through the delivery of consulting engagements and participation in formal and informal learning opportunities
Job Requirements
Capabilities & Skill Sets expected:

- Ability to develop and deliver high-quality written and verbal communication skills
- Strong proficiency in MS Office e.g. Excel and Powerpoint; prior experience structuring, developing and delivering high-quality presentations is a must; similarly, excellent command over written and spoken English is a must
- Knowledge of key issues and current developments within the life sciences space, or ability to learn new knowledge quickly
- Prior experience in all aspects of project management in a consulting / organizational setting, including managing multiple internal and external stakeholders is advantageous
