Job Details

Mission

Front- End System of Big C hypermarket, including sales system server (VLP), terminal sales system (POS), promotions program and Loyalty management system (VLL).

  • You will be responsible for operating the system, supporting users
  • Participating in the development of application-related features
  • Liaising closely with the software supplier to resolve issues or deploy new functionalities. Typically involved in working on more than one product at a time.

Activities

  • Support internal Big C (Stores, Marketing Department, Purchasing Center, and Accounting) issues related to the sales system, promotions program-loyalty system, and POS: receive the requests and resolve by the time committed to the service quality procedure of Big C. The common problems are: adjustment / information gap of Cashier, customer information, incorrect promotion price.
  • Liaising closely with the software supplier to understand what a software program is meant to do. Then developing test plans and strategies and examining all aspects of the program from a clients or end-user’s perspective and finally finding and eliminating any problems.
  • Train End-user the procedures and applications related to the sales system, promotions program-loyalty system, and POS.
  • Perform business process periodically (hourly / daily / weekly / …) related to the sales system, promotions program-loyalty system, and POS.
  • Review of incidents involving the sales system, promotions program-loyalty system, POS and coordinate relevant departments and resolve it.
  • Keep track the status of sales system, promotions program-loyalty system daily batch and handle the fault.
  • Monitor, updates KPI related to the sales system, promotion

  • General knowledge about one IT system: structure, composition, dataflow…
  • Retail industry
  • Project management and business analyze.

Skills

  • Good skills in writing and presenting issues and solutions.
  • Good communication, ability to adapt work quickly.
  • Ability to evaluate, analyze problems.
  • Ability to read / understand and listen / speak English.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Ability to work overtime when required.
  • Knowledge of retail stores is an advantage.
