Job Details
MISSION IT System Specialist will be responsible and accountable for managing all aspects of Big C’s IT Server and devices related to IT System and ensuring that Server System is available and fully supports business goals and objectives. ACTIVITIES Ensure required high availability of IT server and storage system
- Configure, maintain, troubleshoot server system ensure effective support is in place for all aspects of the server and storage system
- Complant to incident management protocols and process are effectively and consistently followed
- Monitoring server and system services, documentation and report
- Drive effective coordination, service delivery and SLA’s with third party vendors
- Ensure IT assets are recorded, protected and refreshed to deliver the agreed SLA
- Strictly follow up and complant the functional KPI’s for the team and drive a culture of high performance
Backup and Restore data
- Backup and monitor backed-up data, periodically do a report
- Periodically do a restoration and report
- Support User for backup and restore data as requirement
- Involve to disaster recovery planning or drilling
Support
- Support end-users, members…inside Central Group for IT System related activities
Research, Implement new system
- Cooperate with IT team (or Group IT) for researching new (or existed) applications/services/tools for using requirement (by company, group)
- Cooperate with IT team (or Group IT) during new system, project for installation/implementation as requirement from company, group.
- Tranning end-user after installation/implementation
Job Requirements
COMPETENCIES Functional knowledge & experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience successfully managing IT system in a multinational organization.
- Experience with managing server/pc Windows (all version), Unix (Linux, AIX, Solaris) and applications/services belong to server/pc; the Backup system (Symantec, IBM); VMWare virtualization
- Experience with managing server hardware as IBM/Lenovo (Standalone, Blade), HP Server
- Preferable candidates to have MCSE/VCP/LPI…
Functional skill:
- VMware VSphere 5.x/Vcenter; VMware ESXi Design and Troubleshooting;
- Windows Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013/2016, Windows services such as Domain Controller, Group Policy, DNS, Files, IIS
- Linux (distro RH, CentOS, Ubuntu…), AIX; Solaris
- IBM Server x Series, IBM Blade Servers, HP DL, Oracle (SUN) Servers
- Preferable candidates have experience to maintain SAN Storage system (IBM V7000, DS8870)
- Preferable candidates have experience to migrate and maintain Office 365 Hybrid
Other skills:
- Proficiency in English
- Good verbal and written communication skills (reading, writing, listening, oral, presentation)
