Job Details
As the key member of Validation Testing Team, you will handle the software testing for Car Infotainment and manage a small test team. Your responsibilities will be:
- • Managing about 15~25 members of Validation Team of more than 3 projects;
- • Formulation and implementation of Software Testing strategies;
- • Resource management (allocation, monitoring, motivating, etc);
- • Preparation/review of test plans;
- • Preparation/review of test reports;
- • Training and mentoring;
- • Working with internal and external teams to ensure testing of a high standard is undertaken;
- • Monitoring test progress, tracking project bugs and project KPIs;
- • Organizing and leading initiatives to improve test processes;
- • Effectively communicating status, issues, and needs to the team, management, and internal customers;
- • Working closely with Validation Team;
- • Reporting directly to Team Leader.
Job Requirements
- • Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent;
- • At least 5 years experienced in managing software test team (15~ 25 members);
- • At least 2 years experienced in managing multiple projects;
- • More than 10 years of testing experience;
- • Advanced knowledge of software testing theories and practices;
- • Resource & project planning experience;
- • Creating and managing of test plans;
- • Experience in building and executing Test strategies;
- • Proficiency in written and spoken English;
- • Making report and presentation skill;
- • Good problem solving;
- • Leadership and stakeholder management skills;
- • Professional approach and positive attitude to work;
- • Logical thinking and design analysis ability;
- • Self-motivated and proactive.
These skills would be considered as an advantage but not the must:
- • Automotive (especially IVI: In Vehicle Infotainment) and ASPICE experience;
- • Formal testing qualifications ISTQB;
- • Software embedded test experience;
- • Automation test experience.
