Job Details
You will work closely with other Testers, Developers, and Product Managers within an Agile team structure to evolve our software and explore new solutions to existing challenges. You will help define, develop, and standardise test strategies within your own and development teams. Candidates should be resourceful, creative problem solvers with a strong engineering mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute and drive ongoing process improvement
- Implementation of test automation framework
- Exploratory testing of new features
- Facilitating Continuous Testing within your team by contributing and maintaining Delivery Pipelines.
- Coaching team members on best practice – knowledge sharing and peer reviews
- Requirements analysis – Ensuring testability of applications, testing understanding of requirements against clients expectations
- Creation and execution of test cases
- Defect mitigation, management, and reporting
- Participating in Agile planning activities
- Create technical and configuration documentation
- Ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all IT business information
- Assume proactive involvement in personal and technical development
- Maintaining clean test environments ensuring as close to production as possible
- Provide your team insight on application quality
Job Requirements
- 2+ years experience in software testing role (manual and automation)
- 2+ years experience in development role
- Proficient in creating automation frameworks utilising Page Object Models
- Understanding of Docker containers
- Current working experience of Object Oriented programming languages
- Experience of PHP, JavaScript and respective frameworks
- Working experience of version control systems (GIT/SVN)
- Experience of BDD TDD practices
- Working experience of CI/CD tools
- Experience in the creation of Technical Documentation
- Proficient using Linux CLI
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL or NoSQL
- Experience of testing APIs
- Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence products would be advantageous
- Experience of Cloud based Infrastructure (AWS, Google,)
- Proficient in British English (spoken and written)
- Exposure to Agile working practices
- ISTQB Advantageous
