Key Responsibilities:
- Research of new and existing technologies
- Day to day maintenance of existing software including the Frontend of the Development team software
- Basic creation of high level technical documentation and specifications
- Ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all IT business information
- Assume proactive involvement in personal and technical development
- Work well as part of a team and on their own initiative
- You will work with/and report toSenior Engineer, Lead Engineer, Project / Product Line Managers

Job Requirements
- Very strong skills at HTML(5) / CSS(3), JavaScript / JQuery
- MVC frameworks such as Angular(4+) / Vujs / React
- Basic server side knowledge g. PHP / Node.js
- Basic database knowledge g. MySQL / NoSQL
- Ionic / Cordova or other Hybrid App frameworks
- Basic understanding of version control systems (git/svn)
- Experience with restful API’s and basic Photoshop experience
- Understanding of some of the basic Amazon Web Services (S3, DynamoDB, EC2)
- Unit testing (Jasmine / Karma / Jest / Istanbul)
- Ideally a Software Engineer has two or more years’ experience within their respective field.
- Exposure to CMS g. WordPress / Joomla / Drupal / OctoberCMS or custom made
- Working with Frontend Development and required Technologies (see technical competencies)
- Experience in creation of technical documentation
- Basic backend development PHP / MySql (advantageous)
