Job Details
We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior QA Tester who loves to build online mobile game-servers that can support thousands to millions of users. And above all, motivation and a passion for mobile games!
As a member of the top-level QA team in GO GAME Vietnam, your day-to-day responsibilities consists of:
- Set testing plans for and oversee the testing of assigned projects (Games)
- Create and maintain Test Cases, Bug Database
- Promote quality of features in functionally during testing, launching and while in live
- Track gams performance and ensure that all features, old and new, are in best shape
- Document all the issues and errors encountered in-game
- Review functional and game design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual game feature and provide checklist/test case/tools needed for project requirements and QA project
- Cooperate and liaise with internal/external production teams (Programmer lead/ tool team / QA team / Training Team) to identify project/system requirements and generate testing procedure and test cases for all game features;
- Write a detailed Test Report and provide feedback for improvement
- Manage team members and tasks assignment
- Perform Ad hoc Task relevant to the Business as necessary
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following skill set:
General Requirements:
- 3+ years hands-on experience as QA in Software or Mobile App Testing
- 2+ years hand-on experience in Console Games, PC Games or Mobile Games
- Understanding of QA testing procedures and methods
- Pro-active and willing to learn and adapt new technologies
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of iOS/Android development and iOS/Android QA testing experience
- Extensive understanding of the iOS/Android platform and device offerings
- Experience creating and executing test cases from functional specifications
- Experience writing test plans and forming test processes
- Capable of critical and detailed analysis and comparison of different features found in game and requirements
- Ability to accurately follow instruction and provide solutions toward at the same time
Other Skills:
- Working language: English – Good at reading and writing and Fair at speaking and listening
- Comfortable working in an intense and high-growth startup environment
- Must be a team player, able to lead a team and work under tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A passion for mobile games and experience with the free-to-play model
