Job Details
Describe how the Quality Assurance Engineer should work, what they will be evaluated on:
- Follow and apply the company process to perform the testing tasks in the project, assist with complying with process standard
- Support the project estimation for testing tasks.
- Take responsibility to help team understand business requirement, user stories and identify unclear or inconsistent items in requirements and ask questions to clarify.
- Create test plan, test case, test script
- Organize test plan, test case review with team
- Execute manual testing in desktop/mobile applications independence
- Analyze and raise the issues, propose the solution/method to improve the system.
Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of software test case design techniques like boundary value, decision table, pairwise, state transition, Use case testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing techniques like white box and black box testing including testing types as functional test, system test, integration test, performance test etc…
- Experience using testing tools like Jira, Redmine, Bugzilla etc…
- Experience using automated testing tools like QTP, Selenium, LoadRunner test automation tools
- Write automated tests at the unit, services/integration, and UI layers, using software automation tools
- Knowledge of Test Management tools like HP Quality Center/ALM
- Disciplined, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology (preferred)
- Experience working with computer systems and their uses
- Experience working with telecommunications systems and their corresponding principles
- Experience working with network management and protocol system testing
